Nature indicators - coordination, development of new indicators and trend analyses
Details
Based on its decree's task, INBO has to report on the state of nature (Nature report), new indicators must be developed on the basis of new insights and available data. In addition to the new indicators to be developed, it is also necessary to ensure that all available indicators are updated and adapted in a timely manner. In order to interpret the figures of an indicator correctly, it is also important to develop trend analyses on a scientific basis. This is certainly necessary for those nature indicators that are linked to a policy objective. A proper trend analysis is therefore necessary in order to indicate whether or not there is a significant change in the trend and whether or not the target can be met.Status | Running |
