Compilation of Red Lists

Details
The compilation of a Red List (RL) starts with the prioritisation of a taxonomic group for which all available (existing) data are collected. In the first phase, checks are performed to establish whether the full dataset meets the desired quality and quantity requirements. If this is the case, the RL category of each species in the selected taxonomic group is determined. Finally, a document (an INBO report or scientific publication) is compiled with information about the methodologies used and the end result (a species list with relevant information, incl. RL category), which is regarded as the Red List.Status | Running |
