Biological valuation map and mapping of N2000 habitat types, inc. methodology optimisation
Details
For the six-yearly report on the conservation status of the Natura 2000 habitat types, the distribution and area of these habitat types has to be monitored. Flemish policy-makers also need similar information about the biotopes protected by Flemish legislation. The mapping is performed according to optimised standards. INBO itself maps the Habitats and Birds Directives sites and the Natura 2000 habitat locations outside these sites in a twelve-year cycle. Maps produced for other purposes are integrated after quality control. All available data are integrated and made publicly accessible on a regular basis.Status | Running |
