Details
The existing fish monitoring network did not meet the reporting requirements for the European Water Framework Directive and the Habitats Directive. Therefore, a new fish monitoring network is currently being designed. In addition, both monitoring strategies must be constantly adapted to new needs (e. g. adaptation of fishing techniques, adaptation of selection of fishing sites, adaptation of indexes, etc.).
