Not everyone experiences digitization as a positive thing. The Dutch Knowledge Institute for Mobility Policy (KiM) has written a study about the problems people can experience when taking public transport (bus, tram, train and metro). And that the digitization of public transport will also have positive effects on people with an increased risk of digital exclusion.

People often experience both advantages and disadvantages of digitalisation. The findings of the interviews and possible solutions, measures that can be taken to reduce digital inequality in public transport are divided into 5 perspectives or categories.
