Emma Cartuyvels

Emma Cartuyvels is an experienced researcher who recently transitioned to the Biometrics, Methodology, and Quality Assurance team. Here, she supports the MBAG project as a statistician. Previously, Emma worked within the Wildlife Management and Invasive Species group, focusing on muskrat management. She played a key role in the Life MICA project, where innovative methods were developed for monitoring and managing muskrats and coypus. Additionally, she was responsible for drafting the management regulations for muskrats in Flanders. Emma is a true R aficionado and enjoys sharing her knowledge as a member of the core team of the R coding club.
