Kennisintegratie: everzwijnen in verstedelijkt gebied

What attracts wild boar to urbanised areas? What are possible management measures and what is the importance of the human dimension of wild boar management in those areas? How best to communicate with the public?

In a new report, we summarise existing knowledge and experiences from abroad on wild boar in urban and peri-urban areas. We also discuss current knowledge gaps and the importance of monitoring and adaptive management strategies.

Finally, we draw up a list of questions in order to quickly assess a local situation of wild boar in urbanised areas and identify local problems and possible solutions.
