Details

Through this project, we are developing numerical models that provide insight into the trade-offs of nature-based solutions, and more specifically with de-poldering. In particular, we look at expected geomorphological developments and their influence both on the function of areas for migrating and wintering waterbirds and on (rigid) objectives. The focus is on RAMSAR areas and for Belgium the Zwin is chosen as study area.
