Recognition of equivalence of diploma from NARIC-Vlaanderen by email
Normally, you have to apply online to NARIC-Vlaanderen for a recognition of equivalence of a foreign diploma. Only in exceptional cases is an application by email possible.
Requesting recognition of equivalence of your diploma from NARIC-Vlaanderen can normally only be done online: via the NARIC-Vlaanderen application wizard you get into the e-portal NARIC-Vlaanderen(opens in new window).
Only in certain cases is the procedure by email below possible.
Conditions for requesting recognition of equivalence by email
- You have no address in Belgium but an employer has a job for you in Flanders or Brussels.
- You now live too far away to travel to a Belgian commune.

In the NARIC-Vlaanderen application wizard, after you have answered the questions, you get an overview of the documents you need to send to NARIC-Vlaanderen. You will need proof from your future employer in Flanders or Brussels.

Save all your documents as one PDF file
Consult the guidelines for converting all your documents into a single PDF file. Your application will then be processed more quickly.

Send the email with the necessary attachments
Send an e-mail with all pdf documents to naric.attesten@vlaanderen.be.
