Welke bestandstypes zet je beter niet op SharePoint?
Je kan in principe alle soorten bestanden opladen op SharePoint, maar sommige bestandstypes kunnen problemen geven.
- Access (Accdb): Access kan goed overweg met SharePoint maar niet op de manier dat je het gewoon bent. Een Access-bestand zal gepubliceerd moeten worden op een speciale site.
- Access (Mdb): Oude Access-bestanden kunnen niet in SharePoint worden opgeslagen.
- Geografisch Informatiesysteem (GIS): Deze bestanden zijn veelal te groot om op SharePoint te worden opgeslagen.
- AutoCAD (DWG ...): Wanneer een AutoCAD-bestand wordt aangepast, maakt AutoCAD altijd een lokale kopie waarin wordt gewerkt. Hierdoor is SharePoint niet op de hoogte dat het bestand wordt bewerkt. Bijgevolg kunnen meerdere mensen tegelijk het bestand bewerken zonder dat van elkaar te weten. Check dit soort bestanden dus eerst uit voordat je ze gaat bewerken. Gebruik daarom altijd optie Voorkomen dat anderen een bestand kunnen aanpassen (uitchecken)
De volgende bestandstypes kunnen niet in SharePoint worden opgeslagen. Deze bestanden zijn veelal zeer technisch van aard.
