This study presents a comprehensive spatial trade-off analysis of Short Rotation Coppice (SRC) cultivation in Belgium and its impacts on ecosystem services and biodiversity. Through a detailed methodological framework that combines interviews, storyline-based scenarios, and- multi-scale modelling, we investigate the ecological and socio-economic consequences of SRC deployment across various land-use scenarios.
